A fun lunch date

I’m starting to feel overwhelmed again. The files keep piling in, and I’m trying to have a social life!

My friend stopped by for lunch with her 2.5 year old little girl, Ava. They are visiting from California. We really miss them, and the girls had a great time playing together.  We all had fun eating lunch, and then they played some more.  Like I said, we really miss them, and even though the lunch date was hectic at times, I’m reminded of how much fun we all have together. 

On an exciting note, Ava is completely potty trained (and has been for a long time, actually) and used the potty twice while they were here. Claire was watching and taking notes, so I think that will be a good thing in the long run.

I should get back to work.

Yes, it’s after 5pm and the files are still rollin’ in. Gotta love it! Daddy’s gonna be doing the happy dance when he sees Momma’s check. Too bad most of it’s going to go to cover the cost of room and board at the loony bin.
