This morning, after breakfast, Claire was playing while I was catching up on an episode of Ugly Betty online. (My Thursday Night Line-up contains too many shows. It’s so full, and TiVO can only handle taping two shows at once. Of course, there are 2.5 of my favorite shows on at the same time…so I compromise! The ABC viewer works well, so I watch Ugly Betty later.)
Anyway, she came into the kitchen wearing this outfit. Isn’t it a riot!? I ran to get camera and was able to get a couple good shots. She had a blast clomping around in her impromptu shoe. She wears this bag as a hat a lot, but this is the first time I’ve seen such stylish footwear. (What you don’t see is the other gift bag that she makes Momma or Daddy wear as a hat…) 
No, she’s not picking her nose (this time)…she’s adjusting her shades!

Very sweet! My son does the same with old Coke fridge packs. He calls them his “soda boots”. Kids are funny!

Now you need to get her another shoe! My 15 yo *still* pops bags and other strange things on top of her head…
Susan, we have another ‘shoe’ that looks just like that one, but I’m afraid she’s not skilled enough to walk without bending at least one of her knees!
My mom has great pictures of me with weird cannisters (buckets, etc.) on my head…so Claire comes by it naturally; that’s for sure! 
Libby, isn’t it great! I think it’s a funny show. It’s pretty light-hearted and goofy, but every once in a while, there are some really good quotes!
Avery, isn’t it great how kids love to play with the *really expensive* toys!?
My thursday night TIVO is the same. Gah!
