Today, he is fine, but yesterday, my hubby was home sick with food poisoning. “Sick” doesn’t quite describe it. “Violently ill” does it a little more justice. One of his coworkers, who had eaten at the same place, was ill, too…so we’re pretty sure in our assumptions. No, I’m not going to tell you where they ate, because in reality, this could happen anywhere. (Cue ominous music now…)
Here is a little snippet of a conversation we had in the midst of the drama…
Me: “Don’t worry about it. I’ll just throw the rug in with Claire’s poopy clothes from last night. I haven’t started the washer yet. I was waiting to see what else needed to be added to the load.”
Him: “You really haven’t had a good week, have you?”

Oh, DO tell those of us who live hear you what place to avoid in the near future.
So sorry for your terrible, awful, horrible, no good week.
Lori, I sent you an email.
Oh no, sounds horrible and I hope he’s feeling better.
You have had quite the week. Hope your husband is feeling better. I’ve never actually had food poisoning (knock on wood) – but I have seen someone go through it. Not fun.
Enjoy your time in the Midwest!
