Ok first of all what a trooper Claire is. Second what a trooper you are. Blood spurting and needles soochering (or however you spell it) equals I barf and faint. Thank goodness Josh is good with these things for when we have kids... and I know we'll be in the ER a lot judging by his childhood track record.

Here's to another year ER-free!

We had a very similar thing happen to Kai - only the wound happened at daycare. They had the bleeding under control by the time we got there. He had two interior stitches and 6 external stitches at our Children's Hospital. They really know how to wound themselves, don't they?? He was around the same age and his scar healed up pretty well. I still see it but most people probably don't.
