Mile High Mamas Update

As you may remember, I’m the assistant editor and a contributing writer over at The Denver Post’s parenting blog, Mile High Mamas. We have some awesome things happening over there! You should pop over and check out the Daily Deal and all the new features we have!

In addition to that, I have a couple Mile High Mamas things of my own I’d like to tell you!

First!

I have a writing piece up there today. I got chills when I wrote it, and I get chills every time I read it, so you should check it out for yourself!

Second!

Last week, I had the awesome opportunity to meet with a bunch of the Mile High Mamas in person in Denver when Mile High Mamas joined forces with Mom it Forward. It was a great chance to put faces with names, blogs, and Twitter IDs.

The Warwick Denver Hotel hosted our event, and it was incredible.

A great time was had by all. For the record, I had to leave on time and missed out on the whole jumping-in-the-pool-while-fully-clothed thing. It’s probably for the best. I’m not sure my knee would have survived.
