Happy New Year!

Goodbye, 2009!  Hello, 2010!

Anyone else excited about getting our double-digits back?  My husband mentioned that to me the other day, and I realized that I’d finally gotten over the single-digit year.  But, he’s right…I’m glad the double-digit is back! 

On Twitter, people have been reminiscing about 10-years-ago.  Ten years ago, we were partying like we always did (and it was purely coincidental that it was 1999).  While at a New Year’s Eve Party, someone flipped the light-switch right at midnight, and we thought for sure all the terrible rumors about Y2K were true!  We had a great laugh over that.

Ten years ago, we were celebrating one full year in Colorado.  It was a big move for us, on so many levels, but it was the right one.  Have we really been here for 11 years??  It’s amazing how time flies.

Now, we have a totally different family dynamic than we did then.  We are no longer a family of two; we’re a family of three.

Two was awesome, and so is three.  Three is the magic number, after all.

I wonder what the next ten years will bring?

Speaking of the future, I will say this:  I’m SO excited about what 2010 will bring.  We have some AWESOME things in the works, and I can’t wait to share them.  I can only hope the next 10 years are as awesome as the 10 before it.
