  That reminds me of when I visited Spain in high school and a local woman started talking to me. I said, “I don’t speak Spanish” …only I said it in Spanish.

  Michelle, that’s true! I’ve told foreigners in a foreign tongue that I don’t speak their language. “I don’t speak German” is much easier to say than “I only speak enough German to tell you that I don’t speak German.” Hee hee.
