Even though watercolors are best viewed from a distance, I have to remind myself not to get caught up in the up-close details. Also? Sometimes the hardest part about painting is stopping. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, if I do say so myself!

Today’s watercolor lesson was in Abstract, specifically created using string. Both of these were created with that method, and both are very different, yet very “mine.”
What do you see when you look at them?
The cool part about Abstracts is that whatever your answer, you’re right. 😉
